Cheers, Tom!Β
I have no shame in admitting it, but you'd have done far better job with this than I ever could.Β
The masonry and the metal pipes? Trust you to comment on those!

I don't think so Khuram, it would be impossible to improve on this, I can not stop looking at it, This deserves a DD at the very least, on thing I would recommend is the use of a watermark, too many images are being stolen and I would hate to see anyone profit from work that is not theirs

the geometry of the image is so beautiful! How on earth did you manage to spot the tiny cat? it was perfectly camouflaged! Lovely image

Aww... thanks, buddy!Β
Well, it was in fact my cousin, Asher, who alerted me to the sound of a cat coming from the building rooftop.
The little feral devil was quite easy to spot, as I have really good eyesight - nah, I'm being modest; I have excellent eyesight!
No, really, everyone in my family wears glasses. Everyone except me.

That's why cats need seven lives. In their first, they only last seconds till they're done, because they are too silly to interact with the world around them in a sensible way. Now look at that one. I can only hope the counter is not already up to that ominous and final seven.
Or as that Olde English saying goes: it's curiosity that killed the cat.
But whatever, this is a great shot. The huge symmetrical lines of a dusty reddish building against an unforgiving deep blue sky. And right in there the ruffled head of a street cat who knows everything about the downsides of life. And tried to move up only to learn that she put herself into a perilous situation.
You know, around here, somebody would call the firefighters, and they would rescue that little devil by way of their long extensible ladders. Happens all the time. Nobody knows what's that good for, but it gets done anyway. Afterwards, everybody involved will be very proud of themselves. And will sleep the sleep of the righteous in the night to come.

Thanks, B
To sleep... Oh, how being able to experience the joy of a long and sweet slumber eludes me still.
I envy cats, you know, and their ability to doze off anywhere.
All they have to do is close their eyes and boom!
The bloody bastets!

Hmmm... dunno.Β
Are cats really afraid of heights, or are they just lazy, and merely pretending to be scared so we can come 'rescue' them?
