I wasn't really planning on putting my furry stuff up here, but this is a personal design and concept that I would consider my best ever. And, surprising no one, also my favorite.Galaxy stuff is everywhere now, but it wasn't so much back in '11. That's about the time Alexandria popped up in my art, and this summer I designed a fursona for her that incorporated her 'space reflective' hair quality. Unfortunately, this design has been copied and sold off by another person who knew of my character and how much the character meant to me. They also went so far as to snatch my explanation behind her phenomenon and credit themselves with it.
Now that that's happened, there's really no point in me putting this here, but there's no point in me not putting it here either. If someone's going to rip off a design, they're going to do it regardless of how many times you post it beforehand or how much it means to you. I know this now.
Haaahhhh, well. What can you do, right?

unf that's dumb. I can't stand people who steal and do things unfairly. It's unfair and if anything in this world irks me like nothing else does, it's unfairness.

It wasn't even like, a partial thing. Because I can't really lay claim to the universe, you know? But the character is literally a direct copy with an exact description of how Alexandria's hair works tacked onto it. And to make it worse, they claimed the idea was their own. But in these situations you can either be an ass, or take a huge breath and try not to be ugly in return.
In the words of Jules from Pulp Fiction: "But I'm trying real hard to be the shepherd."

I'm sorry that you had to go through that as well though :T I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. It helps to rationalize it to myself and remember that if I were doing the same thing they are doing, I would feel guilty. Plus, living while looking over your shoulder, or being spiteful, or asking for confrontation is no way to live. It's more stress than anyone should bring on themselves.
All those things help me keep myself from retaliating.

OH man, she's good! Super busy and all that jazz, so don't sweat it or take it personally. Sometimes I'll text her and it will take her a couple days to even see it. But she's making comics for a living now and that's what she wanted to do so huge props to her for making her dreams come true!

askdfjasdkjf Right?!!? living like that is just awful and I just don't understand those that go out of their ways to start a big storm of immaturity. It's annoying and I basically rationalize it by telling myself that I am the bigger person for it and that they're just mad because I didn't conform to their wishes like they wanted me to. I dunno, I basically just think that I'll go farther in life by having this skill and that at some point, their attitude will bite them in the butt.

Yeah, part of me knew it was only a matter of time before it got swiped- But nothing can really prepare you for that kinda heartbroken feeling so I think its gonna sting for a while.
