I have some flat black on hand -- are you having second thoughts? It would just take longer for the paint to dry and do the flat black instead... I'll do it for no additional cost if it's really what you want!
Let me post up those progress shots - see what you think so far. So many guns are black - your scheme is different and cool IMO.

How did you get the two-tone effect and still keep it black?

The upper is Krylon Fusion Flat Black, the lower Krylon Fusion Satin Black. There is also a Krylon Fusion Camo Black, which is slightly more "gray" in the light, and is ultra-ultra-flat - in theory you could actually do a three-tone black paint job.
I used satin on the grip for durability and easier clean-up, but risked using flat on the slider because it just looked better.

And you forgot to say it's sanded with fairy dust... because that is hella smooth!
