Finally the marker tutorial it's done!
I really hope it will be useful for you!

Here the illustration finished
------------
1-Gomma Staedtler
TO erase when I sketch
2-Gomma Rotring B30
To erase the pencil after inked, its soft touch it better than a normal rubber for not give away the ink.
3-Letraset tria Marker
very good markers,They are the best to make big spot, it's easy with them for a uniform color.
4-Copic Sketch Marker
With The brush nib it's easy to get a soft shadows.
5-Copic Ciao marker
Same of copic sketch, although they are more cheap, even if there are not much colors and have less ink than sketch one.
6-Letraset promarker
the cheap version of letraset tria but i don't like it so much.
7-Tombo marker
although they are very cheap, the ink ruins the paper.
8-9-Copic Multiliner Brown and Sakura Pigma Micron color
Usual I use them for inking the details with colors different than black.
10- Sabilo 88 and 68
I use them to ink , they have a nib more width and they are very cheap.
11-Copic Multiliner Sp Black
Use for inking in black, they are refillable.
12-Sakura Pigma Micron 005 Black
to ink the details in black
13-Winsor & Newton serie 7, NΒ°2, 0
to ink with the brush, they are the best.
14-Roller gel pen silver and golden
for details and decorations in golden and silver.
15- Faber Castell Polychromos and Caran d'ache supracolor
for soft shading with pastels
16-Ecoline white
for details in white.

Papers
-Fabriano 4: I used it for this illustration, they are thick so its is very useful.
-Copic Marker Pad: it's good for light and medium color, but I don't like it with dark colors. It's very thin.
-Manga illustration Paper: it's good ,even if should be more thick.

Well, I've tried to get it from our local library system... so many people have reserved it. :/ It'll take a while until I get it.

hello there! this is a GREAT tutorial. My little sister is just starting to colour (she is not really little) and loved your illustration and would like to follow along. Do you have a lineart version available?
Thanx again!

And excuse my question but um...are those codes(B00-Y00 294-T26) for the copic markers you used? If so, which brand are they?

fabulous! i use copics mixed with so many other mediums because i didn't know about things like blenders & special erasers! thankyou!

MateaLoncar [2011-11-29 19:41:36 +0000 UTC]

Even though I create art in a completely different medium I have to say that this is amazing and it looks like it takes a lot of effort, so that makes the final product that more brilliant! I'm going to fave this cause it's THAT wonderful!

You mention you use a blender 0, is it here on the list, what does that look like? Forgive my lack of knowledge!

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

mary-dreams In reply to MateaLoncar [2011-12-01 10:43:10 +0000 UTC]

Thank you so much!
The blender 0 is a copic markers, I use the sketch version.
However it looks like a copic sketch marker
