This was my final painting project from my Basic Painting I class at college. The final project was a project of choice... so OF COURSE I had to go with an animal
I had a lot of fun with this oil painting. I really feel like I had a sort of "break through" with this painting. I learned that I paint much better just doing one small area at a time, rather than working the WHOLE painting at once. Finishing one small area at a time gives me that little sense of accomplishment like "Hey! I did it Time to paint the next area "
Rather than getting extremely frustrated trying to paint a giant 16x20 canvas in one go lol.
Really enjoyed this project. Can't wait to go into my second semester of sophomore year
