I really like what they did with Lucius in the show. First a brief introduction at the end of season 1, then he gets brought in to fix something for Bruce in season 2, and then he goes through hell with Bruce and Alfred, securing his place in the Bat Family. And what's more, he's not head of the company yet, so he still has room to grow as a character.
