It's just.... have you tried holding someone like that? I feel like it would be so much more difficult than necessary. I have enough trouble supporting a girl while her legs are around my waist. I feel like I would accidentally drop her if she were like that, or at the very least hang onto her legs while she dangles upside down.

If there was something behind Fionna, shouldn't that be implied in the art? A shadow pressed against her shirt that flattens only the part that it's against, the rest of the shirt flowing like normal, for instance.
Don't get me wrong, I like the art. I just feel like the pose, to me, is a little bit awkward.
Also, I just assumed Marshall and Fionna were at ground level. I didn't even think about his ability to fly util you mentioned it.

But it don't seems so terrible, i mean, nobody's perfect. I think the drawing is ok, and it's understood what it's happening here. Haha.

Maybe my experiences are more like, I imagine a drawing that looks super cute on my mind but when I draw it, looks like crap unlike the original idea.
I think it's not the same that you feel, but it's pretty frustrating. I mean, it makes me feel unable. And, in my case, i get depressed and i don't want to draw anything. Then everything returns to normality. Hahahaha XDU
