This vibrant plant caught my eye on campus, I just had to know what it was. I did some research and found out it is a Castor Bean Plant!! I also learned that it is poisonous to cats and dogs, but not to humans. In us it is a laxative! It is also what is used to make castor oil. Ricinin which can be extracted from the beans of castor oil is highly toxic and has been used in homicide. Maybe I should add this to my garden!My facts I got from:
