Story:
Ryan was no different from your average Joe in the U.K. He went to work from 9 to 5 and rode the tube all the way there and back. However, once he was home, differences started to show. Each day he would spend hours at his computer digging through records and files to learn his family history, all in an effort to see if he was descended from royalty, as his father once told him. For months, he had been searching, obsessing over the idea that maybe he could have that status returned if it were true. And this night was so different as he clicked through record after record, finally coming across a small document signed by a lord with the same last name as him. It was the first real lead Ryan had, and he wasted no time in following it. After hours and hours of digging, he jumped up with joy. This lord was in fact his ancestor—a very unimportant royal, sure, but royal none the less. Excitedly, he downloaded the files, wasting no time as he ran outside, planning to eat at his favorite restaurant in celebration. He didn't look around as he ran through the streets when, suddenly, he was struck by a double decker. That had veered off into the sidewalk. Ryan was dead upon impact, and the last thing he would remember was a flash of red and then black. However, while Ryan was dead, his soul was not. As it left his body, a goddess who had been watching the whole event grabbed it, feeling bad for the man. Having been found his greatest achievement only to have it ripped away by death. Determined to give him everything he wished for, she flew to a new world where kings and queens still reigned with full power. With ease, she found the noble family, who were expecting, and breathed Ryan's soul into their womb as he took over the young child. The goddess watched with anticipation as Ryan was born six months later, now a baby girl who was named Ruby by her father. For the next 16 years, Ruby lived an easy and happy life, unaware of her old one as she grew into a lovely young woman. Her pursuit and love of nobility having finally been granted to her.
