I heard he was the inspiration for the Final Fantasy II villain Emperor Mateus Palamecia (in fact, his English voice in Dissidia even SOUNDED like David Bowie's take on Jareth as you can see here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=0jp5Qtβ¦).
Shame Bowie died from cancer, though, and eerily enough, he died mere days away from Alan Rickman from the exact same cause.

It IS David Bowie, or rather, it's Bowie portraying Goblin King Jareth (not that I've seen Labyrinth, though, but I did hear that Jareth may have been the basis for Emperor Mateus Palamecia from Final Fantasy II).
