These last weeks have turned really inspirational for me. By mere luck, I found material to create an idea that came to my mind back in the 90s, when I watched the animated series of Spider-Man. It was an idea that crossed my mind after the episode of "The Return of Hydro-Man", when I saw (what I think) the very first version of Mary Jane Watson with superpowers. Only it wasn't really Mary Jane and those were powers that didn't suit her at all.

This mini-comic happens in Spider-Man's 90s animated series; or at least, a version of it. Mary Jane, already married with Peter Parker, is worried sick as she heard the news about Spider-Man fighting the Insidious Six (the Sinister Six). She feels that she had to help Peter, although not as Mary Jane. She discreetly enters in a closet and we discover she has the same powers as Black Cat in this series, even the ability to slightly transform her appearance. The result is, in many ways, a redhaired version of Black Cat. That's when Felicia awakes to find Mary Jane in front of her. She then realizes it was an hallucination caused by a concussion, as a supervillain that she was fighting hit her really hard in the head. Felicia found that hallucination as a "nigthmare", but she was relieved that it wasn't real. Or... Was it?

This is a story I would like to see in the comics someday, somehow. It's simply too good to be ignored as a possibility. The truth is, there were seen similar ideas in comics before.
+ "Ultimate Spider-Man #71": Peter was trapped in a nightmare caused by the demon known as... Well, Nightmare. Between the allutinations, Peter saw Mary Jane attacking him dressed as both, Elektra and Black Cat. (I would have liked to see more scenes as Black Cat than as Elektra).
+ "Symbiote Spider-Man: Alien Reality": On a weird situation, Spider-Man finds himself in a world where Black Cat is not Felicia Hardy, but a redhaired. Sadly, it wasn't Mary Jane, but Natasha Romanoff, the Black Widow. (Yet, it was really good to see a redhaired version of Black Cat).
