- I understand you enthusiam about him , but at the other hand he is no God, either...

He has certainly also his bad, bad moods and also his faults. - And he is making faults...

Did you already knew that the sentenses he had in German language while playing Hans Gruber (Die Hart) are all wrong...? - He is speaking every single word rather perfectly but the complete sentenses are rather ... bad... bad german... - to put it mildly...

Of course itΒ΄s the scenario writers failure at the first instance...
At the other hand: Rickman is known as such a meticulous working actor with an ambitious self-concept regarding his acting and so it actual was also on him too, to put a question into the sense of the German sentenses... It breaks my heart a bit everytime I hear it... But I know also how bad he must have felt about that mistake though he never said anything in particular about it. He has just mentioned that he was going rather naive into filming of "Die Hart"...

He is an amazingly talented actor, very, very strong in whatever he is acting...

People who met him are full of praise about his lovely behaviour, his patience, humor and intelligence...

And to me he is also a wonderful teacher...

I didn't see him like a god. I see him only different from another kind of person. Friendly passional. For that reason is, for me, that he's special. Because is another thing in acting ^^.

Take care. Kisses.

Is there any particular reason why you gave the line :"A man against the world" ?

Did you already seen the vid I have linked to in my last journal-entry...? "Manipulative greedy bunch of pigs..." ???

I was actually thinking the same thing. But Alan is relatively allready known as being a true-to-the-craft actor and not as someone who's in it for the glory or money. It just may be tribute to that amazing quality of his.

I guess everyone who is a so called "Rickmaniac" is having own reasons for the own special relation to him... But I am curious about hers she wanted to explain with this line...

Well I'm not too good speaking in english, but the reason
for the text is very simple. Is more than a man for me. Is more than a person crossing the world. Is him. A man against the world. Against be the same "man" in this world. Is a different kind of person. ^^.

That's for me, Alan Rickman.
