Description Soth dismounted the Nightmare and approached the huge red dragon. The coldness of death had seen to it that he could never be killed by fire again. That unearthly cold also protected his armor and clothing, though steam did emanate from his cloak. The dark purple cloak now whipped about him in the night breeze as he neared Blood wing.

The dragon roared and swung his claw at the death knight. Soth flew through the air and rolled to a stop ,on his back, several feet away. The dragon grinned and approached the apparently prone figure.

Soth suddenly sat upright, much to the surprise of Blood wing, and quickly climbed to his feet. The death knight's armor was dented where the claws made contact. If Soth took physical damage, Blood wing could not tell.  The Lord of Dargaard Keep stalked towards his foe, pointed, and uttered the word that had slain so many in the past. "Die."

Blood wing stood paralyzed for a second, his heart beating fast in his chest. His breath came in painful gulps, but  soon subsided. Soth knew the action would not kill a dragon of this size, but he knew it would buy him the time he needed. The death knight charged in and with inhuman strength, slashed his sword up into the dragon's chest. Normally a sword would do little damage to a dragon, but this was no ordinary swordsman. The ancient blade bit deep, drenching Soth's arms in blood, which quickly froze and crumbled from the deathly cold.

Blood wing screamed and launched himself into the air. This was not going well. he had never fought a being of this type before and he wasn't about to continue. he started to fly away and recoup when he heard the death knight  utter that dreadful word again..."Die!"

Once again the dragon was paralyzed, only this time gravity, too, would be a weapon. Blood wing fell from the sky and crashed to the ground, bones cracking, breath coming in ragged intervals. Blood wing saw death approaching in his peripheral vision. He had felled ogre and Dragon alike, but this was an adversary that he could not beat. he started to crawl away, when he felt that terrible blade bite into his side. All feeling left his limbs and he crumpled to the ground. Then Lord Soth stood next to his snout, sword raised high.

" All minions of Takhisis will fall before me dragon. You are fortunate to die so fast. That honor will not be bestowed upon many. Your Highlord will be among the ones who die slowly. You fought well Red, Die with honor."

The cruel blade sunk deep into Blood wing's eye, up to Soth's shoulder, piercing the dragon's brain. Lord Loren Soth turned towards the Keep and summoned back his steed. A Highlord was about to witness undeath, being the first of Soth's new retainers.
