kinda like amethyst from steven universe? (think hard about that because I meant it like how amethyst's scrappy and always poofing)
god I designed maji like 15 times..........
I was never happy with what I came up with then I changed her to a updated version of maji v.1.
maji has an awful backstory....its that bad.

I think its kinda mary sue-ish.))
So when maj iwas little she and her sister raven paige, (also a gem) were born half gems. meaning their gems could be summoned when needed. however, gem home-world saw this as freakishly unnatural so they sought to change it. maji and raven became gems at the special back area of the kindergarten. gems were fused to their bodies. it was painful and screaming from maji could be heard everywhere in the complex. she was only 2 at the time. and raven was five.
maji then witnessed raven die in the pack of diamond dogs pearl had done nothing to stop. maji has hated pearl ever since.
now maji is older and trying to find someone to love. she thought she had found it in a certain stallion until well we all know how that went. (cough ocugh referencing cough) now maji secludes herself from most people except for those she's known from before. like light. light has been her friend for +three years. however light has no idea of the stallion or anything associated with it. as far as we know.

1. That was Mary-Sueish, and if you really want to add someone else's OC into the back story, have permission please.
2. Is your version of half-gems really a thing? Like are you saying like Steven half-gem?
3. If you're saying they became full fledged gems then why isn't Maji sporting the color scheme of her gem?
4. How does becoming a full fledged gem work when they were born half gems? That's too convenient and overpowered.

well not like steven. i mean they're lesser than that.
i still have yet to rework this.
however they are flawed. they are still half gem half organic.
raven's death is the reason maji is mistrusting of the gems. (well except garnet)
they dont sport the colorscheme on the outside. but their eyes do. thats one of the few callingcards they have. and they were actually rejected experiements because they didnt turns out like homeworld had hoped.
like the gem mutanats but without the mutantishness

her one flaw is loving too much.
