Aha, indeed, her expression is priceless! Of course, as is the work as well as the concept itself. The background is depicted in a lovely manner and the act of handshaking (or maybe pawshaking) itself is well-portrayed. Great work envisioning such a charming scene!
On a related note, I rather liked "Girls und Panzer" too.

Even the inside as well as the outward appearance are considered neatly, and they tend to empathize and behavior thinking.
But,A story is slightly compulsory.

I see, so the cat truly is the centrepiece of the work (and the concept itself). Mako is certainly a fine choice for portrayal beside the cat. After all, she is kind of reminiscent of a feline as well.
As for the anime, yeah, the tanks were certainly the highlight of the series, which is why I decided to follow the series in the first place (as I am a bit of a military fan), the cute girls were a welcome bonus, however.
