This piece was done for my daughter. Just like the Jem piece she hovered over my every move... I gotta teach her how to use illustrator so she can make her own... JK.. I love working with my daughter she gives me the best ideas

Awesome! I've tried several times to redesign Jem characters into something a little more modern and failed every time, but you did an awesome job to keep the look without it looking dated!

ugg 80's hairstyles, 80's fashion, 80's instruments, you captured them with nightmare-inducing accuracy. I think the characters are composed nicely. The singer is in front and her pose is full of attitude, and I like the blue haired chick with keyboard thing, she looks a bit more reserved, but still tough. XD good stuff

Thank you... I think.. Yup, the 80's are scary times. Reagan was president, the US was trading arms for hostages, leg warmers were a fashion statement not a fashion no-no... I miss the 80's soooooo much!!! I can't wait till girls start wearing headbands, ripped up sweaters and white reeboks..... Those were the days

OMG I love the 80's too...it was a wonderful time, best decade for American animation, followed closely by the early 90s. This piece is amazing btw ^^
