伊達藤次郎政宗 Date Tojiro Masamune (15/9/1567 - 27/6/1636)

[year 1573 - 6yo]:
Bontenmaru (Tojiro's childhood name) who just lost his right eye due to ilness; a somewhat gloomy/emo kid, altho it's all because his own mom abandon him & treated him badly only because he's now handicapped for the rest of his life.

[year 1581 - 15yo]:
Tojiro participate in a war for the very 1st time at this age - but still under his father's guide; & due to his childhood trauma, his hair is starting to turn white/gray now..... but at least he's more open now, & not as emo as his younger self

[year 1590 - 23yo]:
Personality wise, he's now almost completely opposite of what he used to be 15yo ago; & despite of his young age, Tojiro has conquered & is now the leader of the Tohoku (north-east) part of Japan; during that year, the Date allied with another clan (the Toyotomi; from year 1590 - 1599) for the very 1st time too.

[year 1615 - 48yo]:
After 16 years long of loyalty (with the Tokugawa, since 1599), & leading a peaceful life, the Date clan was once again commanded by the 1st shogun Tokugawa Ieyasu to take part in the Summer Battle of Osaka - the very last war of the sengoku period.

[year 1635 - 68yo]:
A year before his death & he's already heavily ill at this point, but still keep his charisma as the "1-eyed dragon" - that highly respected by the 3rd shogun, Tokugawa Iemitsu himself

anyway~~~ i've been wanting to do this for long plus some practice in drawing (the same) chara at different ages |D;;

yah, Tojiro was originally born with the black colored hair, just like what a normal child suppose to be (as in most asian countries); but after the shock of how the way his mom has treated him once he lost his right eye, his hair gradually turn gray/white (well, i've heard that stress/depression/smth-like-those can turn one's hair to gray/white, altho i think i take it to a lil' bit too extreme here lolz) |D;;; but in anyway, yup, my Tojiro is obviously will & can get old <3

........... oh well, at least now u can roughly know what/how the historical Date Masamune's life story was like before

& why drawing ol' man is easier than drawing small kid?? (haha yah..... idk why but i think i love the way old Tojiro turn out the most) XD;;;;
