Description Alrighty, so here is the eventually finished picture of Amidala from SW. In fact, her image from Phantom Menace.
2016 can definitely be named a year of Star Wars, at least for me. I've been quite obsessed about it since release of 7th movie.
However, I wonder what do you think about preuuel trilogy. For some reason, my favourite prequel is Attack of the Clones which rivals for the title of the least liked one. I don't know why though It was fairly decent - a lot of action, special effects, plot was not weaker than that of the other SW movies. I admit it could have more content but as for SW standards... it was fairly good. Nah, seriously though, I don't know why people keep bashing prequels without trying to notice good sides about them.

Hope you like the picture
And if you like it, please leave
Thanks in advance :]

W każdym bądź razie, to praca z zeszłego roku. Musiałbym spróbować to namalować jeszcze raz, może teraz byłoby inaczej.

I agree with you completely. Of course any movie has its flaws but the prequels are just as entertaining. Has strong characters, a love story, Awesome Jedi, and some great action sequences! And of course my favorite character out of the whole Star Wars universe; Padmé Amidala!!!! Keep up the great work!!!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Masanohashi In reply to enteringmymind [2016-07-06 07:16:56 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, like only in prequels we could see Jedi order in its full power, how it looked from inside and not just its single survivors and legends of it. Without that it would feel kind of incoplete. To me at least. Prequels may not have the same kind of climate as the original trilogy but they sure have different things to offer. Therefore I do not think it's legit to compare prequel and original trilogies, they are just very different from each other and each of them has their stronger and weaker sides.

Also, thank you very much, I'm glad you like the picture

My oc character was a finis valorum supporter, but when palpatine took office he had nightmares about palpatine, and the mysterious man in black, during his search for answers doing so he had help from a jedi, that soon turned into love between them, but after learning both jedi and sith, he soon during the clone wars he and his lover accedentally discovered order 66. And soon became mad at padme for voting a sith lord in office, as his nightmare was telling him that a dark empire is coming, he tried to warned them, but they made him look like the stress of war was driving him mad, the only ones who listen are a few jedi, and 8 senators, but before he can do anything the empire came and palpatine framed him for conspiracy to overthrow the republic, lucky his non clone army, and his contacts are loyal to him

Masanohashi In reply to HEROMASTER85 [2016-07-03 09:28:04 +0000 UTC]

well, it was not Padme's only fault that he has grown in power, she was barely one of those he tricked and if somebody was able to discover his scheming sooner, then order 66 could be prevented but no one was

I would say Jar Jar was more guilty with enabling Sidious to receive emergency powers

But some didn't feel bad for padme's bad dicision that cause the entire galaxy to loose it's freedom

After the oc symocast palpatines true actions through his off the grid holo net

After seeing it an oc who is tytho's nephew wanted revenge, for using all of naboo in his scheme, but he never told his uncle because it was personal, while his faction they were evacuatin species

But after hearing pade had died, at skywalker hands, he was at the space station when padme gave her children life, both he and cedrick (my first oc) wanted to takr in look, but organa convinced them to let him go to tatooine, though angered but they understand, and wenters their seprate ways

But his heart still set on revenge on the sith now for killing the person he still called his queen, and after hearing tytho died, at the hands of vader he swear he will finished his uncles mission

Masanohashi In reply to HEROMASTER85 [2016-07-03 23:24:40 +0000 UTC]

not bad story, it's not bad at all
good thing about SW universe is that there is a space for a lot of characters and their individual storylines which match the canon events

one thing though - it was not like Padme died by Anakin's hands per sey but he definitely contributed to her death

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

HEROMASTER85 In reply to Masanohashi [2016-07-03 23:56:46 +0000 UTC]

But my story is hybridization of legend and canon

So that tytho's death was legend

But his nephew almost died at the hands of the sith during the great empire day raid which the truth is told and almost had taken control of coruscant, he challenge palpatine to a fight but during 3 rounds palpatine turned on his lightning in front of a crowd of 25 but luckily he was evacuated by his fellow rebel cell

After starkiller formed the rebellion, and luke joins the rebels, he found him and told luke about his royal heritage, so he made himself Luke's bodyguard and after the battle of endor, and during the dark empire which the saved naboo from the weather altering devices, luke feels he's not the best choice for her mom's homeworld, so puts tytho's nephew as the first king of naboo

oh, I'm alright, I finally finished my academic year a couple of weeks ago

Masanohashi In reply to Ace093 [2016-07-03 23:28:53 +0000 UTC]

oh wow
so it's like to a theses you also attach a program on a CD? or perhaps you are only sending it in electronic form?
here there's an obligation to print papers when you hand them over

then the university keeps it for some time and well, probably throws it away if they find they don't need it for further research

thanks, yeah, I suppose it would be something good to be introduced to the market
I mean, everything gets digitalized lately so why shouldn't people get used to graphic softwares

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Ace093 In reply to Masanohashi [2016-07-04 15:56:24 +0000 UTC]

yep! we attach a cd with it too XD
(it's ironic since we are an IT department)

oh, that's sad... our uni doesnt thow them away (in our library are thesis's since 1980's)

yep!

btw I finaly uploaded some new art (kinda) i'd apreciate it if you told me your opinion

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Masanohashi In reply to Ace093 [2016-07-05 08:17:14 +0000 UTC]

yeah, like they must be inundated with CDs already
but whatever fits them

lolz, they archive them all? you know, from a perspective of a student, it may be disappointing to know that a paper you worked hard on was scrapped but from perspective of the university... they do not have space to archivize it all and why should it just lie on a shelf and collect dust

oh, sure

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Ace093 In reply to Masanohashi [2016-07-07 06:34:29 +0000 UTC]

yep they archive them all!
I understand the logic of what you;re saying
but in my uni they are like : you never know we might need this XD
(they have all the papers/thesis's and stuff in an electronic library too ! )

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Masanohashi In reply to Ace093 [2016-07-07 13:27:24 +0000 UTC]

yeah, that's why on my uni there is a rule of keeping the theses for about 5 years since they are delivered
then they are being trashed

in other words, unless they find something they need in a thesis during this 5 year period, they discard it

they can't keep everything because there would be too much of stuff and eventually it could be problematic to keep it all, let alone check their content
they'd probably need to employ another tram of people who would archivize and verify these papers (even if they were in an electronic form) and knowing how much stingy my uni is, there's no way they decide for something like that

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Ace093 In reply to Masanohashi [2016-07-28 15:01:18 +0000 UTC]

sorry for uber late reply was camping

I guess that rule makes sense ...

wellll.....my uni has a content problem really XD
but they still keep everything
they recently build an underground library for that reason XD

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Masanohashi In reply to Ace093 [2016-08-03 23:28:52 +0000 UTC]

it's okay, no worries

so as you can see, stocking too much of stuff does not work too well on the longer run ^^'
I'm not surprised neither my uni, nor any other school I attended wants to keeps stuff things like exams or more important papers
it feels sad that our work is treated in such way but that's how things are

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Ace093 In reply to Masanohashi [2016-08-08 09:52:59 +0000 UTC]

I dont think its nessessarily a bad thing throwing stuff away ,
esspecially if they are not that important
wow that sounds cruel T_T

nevertheless, how have you been?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Masanohashi In reply to Ace093 [2016-08-08 15:03:56 +0000 UTC]

yeah, well, once one teacher of mine in high school asked us to help her in destroying all of that year's exams, right before the end of the year and vacation time
we were basically tearing all papers apart yeah, this is what they do to papers we had to study hard to prepare to it may seem kinda cruel to think about it ^^' like they demand of you to study but in the end results of your works are close to nothing in value (maybe only that you can go on to the next year)

oh, I've been fairly good, thanks
I haven't gone to anywhere for holidays because of money issues
but I'm not bored, I have stuff to do

and what about you there?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Ace093 In reply to Masanohashi [2016-08-10 06:24:47 +0000 UTC]

savage XD well i would have enjoyed tearing high school exams and stuff appart XD
At the end of , i think it was 11th grade, I was so close to burning my school books
(some kids actually did burn them)

if you're not bored it's fine i guess

well.... I only went camping for one week
our uni actually owns a Camp , and students can go there pretty much for free
which is awesome when you don't have a lot of money (you only pay for food ~ it's like 35€ a week)

but seriously, more unis should do that
(i think ours is the only one in the europe that actually operates a camp)

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Masanohashi In reply to Ace093 [2016-08-10 14:54:24 +0000 UTC]

oh nononnono, I would never burn books why when I can sell them? and if I cannot, it's still better to put use it for recycling, paper is a good renewable material and I'm quite ecological
anyway, near the end of each year each school organizes book sales in which you can sell books you no longer use to younger students so they can buy them for less money than they would pay in a shop for a new one; it is a good deal because new books are really expensive, at least here

I see, as for a holiday trip, it really is quite cheap
but how did it look like? did you have any acommodation? or you were living in tents or such?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Ace093 In reply to Masanohashi [2016-08-10 16:21:44 +0000 UTC]

hahaha i was a young stressed child XD I would never consider burning books now as an option XD
Oh i see you pay for books, huh.... that's actually good, so you dont treat them as trash
like they do here
school and university books are distributed for free in greece by the ministry of education
and that's why people don't really care for them (I still have all of my old books though)

it's pretty much a coastal forest with a minimarket and a restaurant and a beach bar
and free space for tents
in high season there are as many as 6.000 people it can get really crammed
aaaand of course it's super noisy like 24/7
but not if you go on 17 july +

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Masanohashi In reply to Ace093 [2016-08-24 10:29:19 +0000 UTC]

heh xD

no, books are really expensive here now, it has always been a good business trading them
like, each year you'd need to spend no less than ~100 euros (after conversion to your currency) for new books, but you could save a lot of money through buying them second-hand

wow, seriously? then you were being really spoiled ^^' and I'm betting that even know when you have crisis now, your situation is presumably better than here
but yeah, giving people stuff for free makes them less respectful for it so I don't consider it a good solution

ah, that sounds like a fairly nice place
unless there are bugs sneaking into tents or stuff like that ^^' or even worse - snakes, it sometimes happens on campings

and nah, I don't like places which are noisy, I like much better true calmness of quietude of nature, like when you go on camp with just few people, not a whole bunch of them

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Ace093 In reply to Masanohashi [2016-08-24 13:25:24 +0000 UTC]

i see buying second hand books is really good , both for your wallet and for the environment ^^

yep.. that's our reality. .
i dont know if our overall situation is better , because i've never been to poland ^^'
though it might be (only because of the random free stuff , like the books, which we really should be paying for)

only bugs are mosquitoes and ants , it's ok i guess :>
there are no snakes , the people responsible for the camp really care for it

me too :> we spend our days there playing Dnd

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Masanohashi In reply to Ace093 [2016-08-25 21:48:35 +0000 UTC]

yep
also, I don't understand people who keep making copies during their presentations and stuff
printing costs money, besides it's a waste of paper to make copies for everyone so they will use it just during one class and then have no more use for it
I admit I never wanted to spend money on copying prints for everyone, just that everyone would use just one paper and pass it from hand to hand

if the class requires collaboration and things like that then yeah, ore than one print would be needed but not for some minor exercises

Poland is one of the poorer european countries, and definitely one of the poorest in EU, so I guess people here have quite a lot of respect for a lot of stuff
thought, truth to be told, media say that there is not enough money in budget that is collected from taxes but in fact there is more than enough, just stupid politicians lie to keep large sums of money for themselves

and basically, you pay high taxes but have nothing
and it's also the reason why it's difficult to make business here because these taxes are horrendous
if they decreased taxes, a lot more businesses would flourish but there's apparently no chance for that - we always have socialist parties ruling and what's even more ridiculous, these socialist parties keep claiming that they are anti-communist and right-wing in order for people not to associate them with communism since a lot of them have bad memories associated to it; but in reality, they are just informal prolonging of a comminist system, just people are not able to see it clearly

so, since you keep having socialist parties which put high taxes on you, you are not taught self-reliance and how to make business plus you have a lot of redundant bureaucracy, then no wonder the country is poor

okay, I guess I went way too far into politics ^^'

that's cool
you mean dungeons and dragons?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Ace093 In reply to Masanohashi [2016-09-10 13:38:08 +0000 UTC]

true

it's always like this ... the polititians can get away with almost everything
yeah it's like that here too ... every political party is the same , nothing changes really
it's kinda sad but they don't care about the people, only themselves

yeah... it's east european curse
our countries will never flourish :/

it's ok XD i dont mind

yeah i mean dungeons and dragons

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Masanohashi In reply to Ace093 [2016-09-10 19:18:46 +0000 UTC]

yes, but the worst thing about all of that is that government and media want to keep people oblivious as to the real reasons of the country's powerty; if people were more aware, they would presumably act differently and vote for other people than for the same socialist parties
but with the way things are, people cannot tell the difference between what certain groups of power want and do; like they vote for specific party because they promised to give them money if they have newborn children but they do not think about far-reaching consequences of such a plan, like what it can really do for the country's economy and demographics; that's the way communism taught previous generations to think and now children of those generations are taught to think likewise
I'm really disappointed with a situation here and hope to some day immigrate to some other place, like perhaps USA

yep, they are totally destroyed by communism ;/ but western european countries are not any better currently - they may be economically better but what is that for since they become more and more unsafe?
that's why I don't expect Europe to be any good place to live anymore in a near future

nice I've never played it to be honest
did you like it?
