Description Lets have fun and play with DeviantArt's sceduled submission in sta.sh!! Aah... I must be really bored...
I've set this to upload exactly at midnight on the 25th of June, GMT+10:00. Hopefully it will work.

I've set another scheduled 'Before and After' meme on the 26th of June, 12:00am, GMT+10:00.

Well, this is pretty much my first concept drawing of an OC of mine compared to my most recent drawing. She is called Ritsuko. Essentially, it is 2012 vs 2015. I remember that I felt accomplished when I finished the BEFORE drawing. When I look at it now, she seems very... 'lacking in spirit', or frankly speaking, dead. Although when I compare to the AFTER, I speculate that the aerodynamics and more darker shadings there strongly contributed to making her appear lively.

At many times, I discretely compare my own drawings without uploading in here (or else you will be flooded with nothing but various results of this meme). I always have a bad mindset that what I have drawn in my pictures is the best I can do and cannot improve anymore. Each time I check always surprises me when I find that I'm always wrong.

Anyways, I just wanted to type all that down to kind of refresh my head and reflect on my drawing hobbies. My head feels like I've taken a heavy burden out for some reason. Just pretend I'm just saying that all to myself, haha~

You must have some magical power Masasa, every time you post new work after awhile there is always some good improvement shown! I love the new dynamic pose, especially the warm light shading! It feels like you're more comfortable drawing with bigger movement and use of contrast, keep it up!

Despite not drawing, I still take a look at drawings. In my head, I get ideas to draw in the future and with those ideas, it helps me recover from art block!! It does take awhile but at least I will want to draw rather than force myself to.

Thank you for your kind analysis

Thank you!!

The time I drew the "BEFORE" drawing was around the time I got a tablet for the first time. It would be strange if nothing changed after all those years, haha~
