man I really thought this one would win. There's so much character in that short clip. even that part where he covers when they walk in to the light. and the concept was so original. It looked like it came straight out of a feature film I really wanted this one to win haha. great works

Yep, I can see why it got ranked so high. The subtle, secondary motions are absolutely great (the way the glasses on the kid's face fall, etc.). Really great animating. Very convincing, and intricate work.
