A drawing I've been slowly building for the last couple weeks. It started out with a robot head doodle that I liked, and just kept adding parts during breaks at work. I couldn't figure the best way to show the scale, but you can see a little pilot seat in his forehead.The symbol on his chest is the Adrinka symbol for "guardianship". Not sure if I'm using it right, though. Theres a rough sketch of most of his body up in scraps.

I've been trying to come up with a concept for this challenge for a long time now, but it's hard. This is really good. It just feels right. Hope to see it inked and colored

Thanks. I started out with the idea of a cornrows and a bandana, then just grew it from there. I really want to ink and color it, but the time it would take to do it right would be huge.

I see the influences now!
I don't know how they do it for the Transformers comics. There's a lot of what looks like precision detail done with straight edges and French curves.
