I'm probably going to move this to scraps later.

I went to a Chinese restaurant with my bf for lunch today, and while waiting to be served I finally drew some fanart for my newest love--Merlin and Arthur, from Merlin the BBC series! There are currently two seasons out, and the third one starts this coming Saturday.

I have never shipped yaoi before... but it just makes total sense with these two characters. Yeah, I know--Merlin and Arthur?? From the stories of Camelot and Excalibur and the Round Table and all that?? YES! I never would have believed it either. But the way this show is written/acted/edited... omg, I believe in the love these two characters have for each other. I'm not sure I'm a yaoi fan just yet--I just know true love when I see it, and I see it in this show, between these two characters. (And yes... there is a Guinevere... but I don't think she and Arthur get along very well. At least, it's just been awkward so far. )

BTW--the actor who plays Lancelot in this show is the husband of one of my friends from school. How sick is that?! Hahaha, I'd love to ask him to somehow get me on that show--I'll be a camera PA, or an intern again, anything! Anything!!! I just want to see Merlin and Arthur IRL!!!!
