Strange idea of an octopus in milk, but mostly why people do that with photographs for example is to enlist an ethereal sense of contrast. Though for something innately unsettling like an octopus, it seems like a different type of combination. Think it is one of the few times I have ever seen you use reference/stock that wasn't really from your own collection. For something as such, you'd be one heck of a photographic collector at that point. Despite the innate strangeness of the image, it's still beautiful.
