Lovely piece. You have wonderful use of rhythm, pattern, line and flow. Movement is wonderfully created to through the lines, up from the base, and around to the face. You also bring emphasis on the face through contrast, in the absence of detailed lines and darker colors. Overall this is a beautiful piece, with wonderful use of the principles of design, and the elements of art.

Wow I usually don't get thoughtful comments like this! You made my day.
Can you explain to me what you mean by rythmn and flow? I think it's pretty hard to understand those words when I look at my own drawings. I can only understand when I look at the movement of a gesture in a drawing.
Thank you so much for taking you time to write this <3

Yeah, That makes me happy to hear!
What I mean by rhythm and flow is the way your lines move. they have a wave-like look. The back and forth sway shifts the viewers eyes up and around the piece. It seems to work together in a consistent way, kind of like rhythm. Rhythm is also a principle of design, so if you look those up, it might help out a little bit more. (I know I'm not very good at explaining things)
But I see this rhythm, and flow, in the way the hair curves, the solid lines that jag out, such as the butterfly wings, and the grass.
Hope this helps.
No Problem!

Oh I think I understand! I read about it. It's funny that I managed to draw something that would look pleasing to the viewer, just like a design would do. I usually don't think about it, I just draw and see
what will look good. There are so many ways to make a piece look interesting, I should learn more about those principles. When I think about rhythm I always think about a beat that repeats itself.
So in drawing, it's like repeated lines but they're more variated? Thanks for explaining!
