EOS 60D | EF-S 15-85 @76 | 1/5s | f/8 | ISO 400 | Lee 0.9 HE GNDAnother shot of that beautiful sunrise from Clingman's Dome. I think this one really focuses in and shows some of the beautiful colors that the sunrise created in the sky, and the distant ridges.

man,. looking at your photos,. it seems like you have been all over the world taking great photos. what allows you such freedom to do so? Im jealous.

Well the appalachian shots you see, like this one are within driving distance (although this was a 9+ hour drive). Out of country shots, well my dad enjoys traveling and I am lucky enough to get to go along sometimes... such as in May I am going to Tahiti and New Zealand. And the recent shots from California were because my uncle flew me out to teach him some photography and have a nice trip up to Yosemite. Just kind of lucky I guess.

Thanks! It really was a great place, my first time down there actually. I know you are from WV... thats next on my list of "local appalachian" places to visit... maybe in the spring.

Spring is the time to come to WV for sure. All the green is popping, the streams are raging from the thaw...my favorite time of year here.
