Say hello to my Dragon Ball Xenoverse oc, Gast! Who (as of right now) is level 88! He's one of the original Namekians and is their leader and protecter, until he was summoned by Shenron to help Protect Space and Time. He has learned to balance his new job as a Time Patroller with his life back on Ancient Namek, which he visits quiet often.

He is an extreme powerful warrior, capable of fighting off The Gods of Destruction and their Teachers. He has even fought and won against a Villainous ssj4 Gogeta (These feats are for end of story Gast, after he's done all his mission, training, fighting etc) He is also an excellent swordsmen.

When Namekians first came to exist there were many subspecies, Gast being one of the Shadow Namekian subspecies (similar to the Dark Namekians seen in Dragon Ball Online, but not all inherently evil) otherwise know as the Shadow Namekian Clan, who all believed in a strange prophesy, a prophesy made and told by the Grand Elder of the Clan, Grand Elder Snorl. Snorl stated that, one day, a Demon unlike any other would make its way to Namek, and take hold of one of the Shadow Clan. The Demon would be known as Arstel, The Demon King and The Demon God. But the prophecy also said that a God of Namek would rise to challenge him and defeat him in combat.

Then one night, that very Demons soul made its way to Namek, after his body had been trapped and sealed away by his underling, Dabura. The soul made its way into a Shadow Namekain Egg, the egg that Gast would eventually hatch from. But the Demon soul couldn't take control of the child due to the magics of the Grand Elder, so he had to share the body with the young Gast, who was constantly under the vision of the Grand Elder, so Arstel kept quiet most of the time, but he couldn't really do anything anyway.

But along with many other subspecies, they all died out over time, many died due to the drought that plagued Namek (which was actually brought about by Arstel himself). Leaving only the Green Namekian we all know, who didn't believe in the Shadow Namekians prophesy, despite the fact it had already partially come to pass, they just didn't know it had. However, a few Shadow Namekians survived, including a much older Gast, after they all went into hiding underground. The sub species was later rediscovered during the battle with Frieza, when all of them were teleported to earth.

During Gast's youth, he was made the Protector and Guardian of the Shadow Namekians Grand Elder, Snorl. Snorl, while working with Gast, taught him many things, including Namekian Magics, Spells and more, essentially making Gast his apprentice. Snorl, as thanks for Gast's great work, gifted him a sword before he died of old age. As he died all his power flowed into the sword, giving it unique abilities. And whenever Gast needs help or advice, Snorl speaks to him through the blade, giving him all the help he can.

Gast was tasked with finding a new Grand Elder for his Clan, and after debating and searching, he found the new Elder in the form of Nals, a wise but at the same time naive Shadow Namekian, so Gast had to be his Guardian, his Protector and his Counselor, giving him advice when it was needed.

After this Gast defended the planet from many threats, Space Pirates, Dark Namekains, the Evil Super Namekains and much more. Later, he was brought to Toki Toki City when Trunks made the wish to bring forth a warrior strong enough to defend Space and Time. Gast then became a leading members of the Time Patrol, along with his job as Protector of Ancient Namek back in his own time.

Now, as for how I named him, I got his name from the fan manga, Dragon Ball Multiverse. One of the characters in the fan manga is called Gast, and it's said he named himself after a Namekian Deity, well, my guy IS that Deity, or at least slowly becomes him.
