Damn, your Exile is REALLY short. I mean, if Ky's 6 foot 2-3 inches, then Mar is like... 4 foot 7? Nevermind. If I saw Ky in real life I would probably look at her the same way Mar does.

It was mentioned, that when Ky met THorin, she was about 5 feet 8 inches and as adult, she's about 6 foot 2-3. And yeah! I'm taller than Ky, and I'm proud of it! I'm 6 feet and 4 inches! Pushing slowly up to 5!

LOL Yeah XD I personally think on the journey that Ky will do things to Mar that will show her strength and Mar's feet dangling. XD *pictures one of Mar's stunts or sudden ideas to do something and Ky grab her by teh hood and hold her to her and try to reason things with her, while Atton laughs at Mar's feet dangling.* XD LOL she did it teh first time when they were united after teh koto tank XD That was a good scene too! I can't recall if Ky did that or not. But I do know that is likely something she'd do if she felt Marina wasn't moving fast enough.
But Mar has many of her great points too. Like her loyalty and kindness. It really puts her in a soft spot on Ky's heart, plus she's small. So Ky feels immediately defensive of her.
