Well this was something I really wanted to do! I am in a big MLP FIM mood especially for being excited for the up coming season three!
Well here's Sapphire, asked by Twilight to help out on this experiment in hopes she will discover her talent (yeah she is a blank flank at this point and is doing different things to know what her talent is) And as you can see she is a different hue per type of pony
. The Earth pony is what she could have been if she wasn't born an alicorn.And as you can hear and seen she has two siblings. An older brother (whom is a Pegasus) and her older sister Ruby as you can see is a unicorn. XD And I had to do that I just had to it was perfect! (I'd figured she as looking for the mirror and took the potion to change her when she thought it was a drink LOL
And boy when she saw herself she was horrified! XD ) BTW if you look at the one of her in teh mirror you can see above her eye is a pink marking which is supposed to be apart of the transformation as her sister for her sister has a scar over her one eye and is blinded. BUT because she looks like her sister both eyes are still the same as her actual eyes. And the princess version I really really like (which she has her cutie mark) BUT just couldn't come up with a name
But BTW Mustang whom is mentioned in the alicorn princess potion is not her brother mind you, it is her stallionfriend/boyfriend WELL now that I had fun with Sapphire and got to draw her sister pretty much I can get back to K2 related art!

I really like her mane (especially how it keeps changing)! Okay, normally I don't have the nicest things to say about alicorn OCs (a tad overpowered, really), but she is just such a sweetie I don't care. I think it's really cute that even though she's an alicorn she's still a blank flank. Good job!

And about the over powered thing yeah I know that but as Sapphire said in the meme when she was separate types she felt stronger on that trait (such as when she was a Pegasus she said her wings feel a bit stronger then normal and commented as a unicorn that hopefully it will be easier to control and learn more magic) Sapphire as an alicorn she isn't a good flyer and barely uses her wings, and she struggles with magic ( Which Twilight is her tutor and Rainbow is her coach in my story) I didn't want her perfect or capable of both her gifts, that she would have to work to get better if she wanted. Also with the whole thing with alicorn OC's of people disproving them I sorta took that inspiration of that and used it on her older sister whom hates/jealous of her to show that even ponies like her own family can dislike who she is. I think the trick to Alicorn OC's is to not make them too perfect make them stronger in one ability then the other or equal out.

(Oh my, long comment!) Well that sounds like a fin character! I'm not a hater of alicorns or anything, it's just weird when someone makes THEMSELVES into an alicorn, makes too many, or just makes them unreasonably overpowered in some other way. But even then, I won't say anything against it. I mean, I think it's okay if everyone makes one or two, you know?
But yes, sounds like a charming story! Do you write? I would be interested in reading about this, and would love to have a story like this in my writing group
