I put this under wild because they say these horses are "wild". They are the bucking horses for the ...CALGARY STAMPEDE! Because it is Alberta's centennial. They drove them in from the ranch that the stampede owns. There were 20 riders and 200 bucking horses. Sadly when they were about an hour away from the grounds about 8 horses spooked and broke away from the herd, then went down an imbankment into the river (which had been higher because of the rain) and unfortunatly drowned.

This is the first in a series of 4. I won't be putting the other three up until tomorrow because I'm off to bed soon (so tired...) so if you want to the the rest of the series, check back tomorrow.
