Poster idea B for Death of A Salesman... I wanted to do Willy planting his garden because it seemed like the main theme/scene that helped explain his character- why he has hisself-destructing nature towards the end, why he's planting it... and get the feeling that he's digging his own grave.Then I got told it had a "Grapes of Wrath" look.

this does make me think of Grapes of Wrath, I won't lie... but it's still purely Death of a Salesman. This is such a great image, I love it. It's really depressing me, I wont lie. but thats a good thing... i guess it means you really encompassed the play. nice work, i really love this piece. your technique is so fabulous. im jealous.

I love this.
It totally captures the futility of Willy's character. Planting the garden won't change anything and yet he does it, always fighting back until giving up seems to be the heroic option.
Really sad play.
