Very intriguing ... the use of blue and purple really elevates this beyond an ordinary flower picture. I'm undecided whether I like the slight glowing effect, but I will say this much - it certainly captures and holds my attention and I find it more and more lovely the longer I ponder it! And, after all, art worth making is art worth gazing at, right?

I didn't find the glow distracting, but I was very undecided about it at first view. It was most definitely *not* off-putting and, in fact, made this photo rather intriguing ... it made me want to look at it more than once and with art, that is very much a triumph! I honestly wouldn't change a thing! The glow adds an extra element of interest that attracts the eyes and invites a second look - keep it!!
