For those that don't check MMO-Champion as often as I do, that lovely "deer" is the up coming model for Malorne, The White Stag. If you don't know his lore, look it up. It's a great read [link]
Sum it up though, he is the lover of Elune, father of Cenarius, and was partners with Ysera in caring for Cenarius and the Emerald Dream.
"The enormous stag is a white so pure that he radiates a soft glow, like moonlight. He stares at you with eyes that are silver pools of deep and ancient wisdom, and his mere presence gives off an aura of calm, safety, and peacefulness."
Right now, it is speculated that at the end of a quest in patch 4.2, Malfurion will resurrect Malorne. After the resurrection ritual succeeds, Malorne kills Lord Rhyolith (some magma giant boss thing) and the attackers of the sanctuary and then runs off towards The Regrowth. He is nowhere to be seen afterwards.
Other then all that, he is one of the ancient guardians revered by the Druids of the Wild.

well since of MOP is coming, a new patch was realsed and druids now can turn into a stag form, i can't wait to meet him, i will take a photo of myself by him as a stag too!

Yes, I take 95% of my backgrounds myself in game. There are a few that I've gotten from MMO-Champion namely for either you can't get there normally or it's not released yet. This background was taken perhaps 2 days prior to the piece being done in the Twilight Grove of Duskwood.

Nice! I'm on Feathermoon. WoW just hasn't been the same since Cata. All those troll druids running about and I still haven't quite figured out why Tauren Paladins and Priests exist yet. I actually started RPing a Tauren shadow priest just for the sheer irony of it and it's actually pretty cool. I made up a background story about her being a seer, but then turning to evil gods and actually it's pretty fun. :3

ya same here, i miss my lvl 60 Druid. But sadly Blizz killed the druid, Now thorns only last 10 secs, superlame. You cannot summon the trents nomore and no more Starfall!

Ah i love the story of Malorn! I think the only thing that kind of confused me on this picture was the portal door. Im not sure if i like Malorn being see-through at first glance the greenness of the portal appeared to me in front of him instead of behind. But man o man i bet ysera is going to be jumping for joy when she learns that her lover has returned. Seems alot of the demi gods are getting resurrected that died in the war of the ancients.
