I flat-out refused to believe this was done with colored pencils and thought it was a photograph taken from the movie until I looked at the larger version.

Wow. You. Are. Amazing.

Thanks so much! I've gone to job interviews before with prints of my artwork, and they too wanted proof that I hadn't simply printed pictures off the internet. If you visit [link] (www.artofmassie.com) I've recently added additional info on some of my sketches that includes mediums, and time to complete. Thanks again!

Man, your skill with the pencils, the cheap ones no less, is unparalled in my opinion. My jaw drops every time I see one of your pics. You almost have to blow them up just to appreciate the shading and your color choices...well done again, man. Beautiful pic.

Some of my earlier work looks alot more like colored pencils, but these recent ones get the tissue blending technique after it's all drawn out. Also it's scanned onto my computer, so some of the finer detail is lost due to my poor quality scanner. I used to use Liquitex pencils, but they were significantly more expensive than Crayola, so now it's back to the cheap stuff!

Ironically, I'm a film critic for [link] (www.movietack.net) so I get to watch press screenings of all the movies that go to theaters. I watched an X-Men: The Last Stand screening last Tuesday, but it was so entertaining, I decided to watch it again this morning. Hopefully you stuck around until after the credits rolled, because there's another little scene after that which you definitely don't want to miss! Thanks for the comments!

Don't wait for dvd! The extra clip at the end is absolutely CRUCIAL! It's amazing to think that Jean Grey was played by the same actress who played Xenia Onatopp in Goldeneye. If you haven't seen that movie, watch it! I haven't written any books yet, but I have seen a ridiculous amout of movies. In my opinion, in order to be a good critic, you have to have alot of source material to compare and contrast movies too, and in my case, it's thousands of other movies. Basically I have no social life. Haha! Thanks for the comments!

There's constantly new stuff up on (www.movietack.net) [link] so the more you get to visit the site, the better for me! I noticed you're located in Japan. Anywhere near Chiba Prefecture? My mom was born there.
