Hey, as I'm just owning a whole pile of scrapwood I was looking into your stuff to find inspiration on what I could do with it.
I normally carve small spoons and forks and bowls.
But I now have yew wood and that is poisonous so not to be used for that stuff.
So I remembered that you had a whole bunch of beautiful things up here and I decided to go and look for inspiration.
And here it is!
It is beautiful and it just made my mind running wild with ideas.
Thank you so much for that.

Very beautiful! Did you burn into the piece, or did you use black paint for the carved decorations?
What are your tools of the trade for this?

You have honed your craft beautifully. How did you start? I am curious and I am inlove with the skill of woodcarving, but have not dared it myself.is this your one passion or are there others?

beautiful. I've been wanting to take a wood crafting class, or at least acquire basic tools, such as the ones you used, for such a project. Though I feel that I should wait until I move out of an apartment. Recycled art is some of the best. Create something wonderful and save the earth from extra garbage.

Some good V tool work here. This is very attractive and you did well to stop bits of bark dropping off. Nice grain, what wood is it and what finish did you use please?

thanks! I don't know what type of wood it is...but I think that maybe could be linden wood... the finishing has been made with oenological oil with a drop of lavander essence, so it gives a nice scent... I think that in the future I will make one in juniper wood!
