In memory of Stephen Hillenburg, the creator and mastermind behind one of the best cartoon shows ever made, Spongebob Squarepants.

I thought he was dead at first, but turns out he's just "pushing up daisies". (See what I did just now?)

While The Loud House may be a very good Nicktoon show in and of itself (one of the best we've had in recent years), unless you were born yesterday, we should all know it doesn't even come CLOSE to the legendary and cultural impact of Spongebob. I don't find myself quoting The Loud House too often, do you?

Of course, Spongebob as a show has "jumped the shark" in recent years, but as far as the OLDER episodes go (particularly before Season 4 & the FIRST movie) all their memorable quotes and memes will continue to be used and referenced years to come.

I love me my cartoons, and Spongebob is truly an inspiration. I would not be where I am today without this show's influence in my life.

It's EXTREMELY DIFFICULT for me to choose JUST ONE favorite Spongebob episode (I've got a bunch already). I LEGIT CAN'T CHOOSE! But if I had to, "Sailor Mouth", "The Secret Box", and the "Krusty Krab Training Video" are just some of many that come to mind.

There may never be another show quite like Spongebob.
