Raon is a relatively soft-spoken guy, though, he has no problem talking up a storm if you grabbed his interest. He's (alarmingly, give or take) quite a positive dude with a rather cheery output when he speaks, and has no beef with striking up conversations if silence serves as a barrier. He's keen with jokes, the best ones that'll make your sides hurt or the terrible puns that you end up giggling at anyways cause they're so bad. His sweet nature gives him a certain charm, and he's able to swoon people in his favor rather easily. Raon, is not one to abuse his power of course, as he is loyal to everyone he's befriended and quite affectionate to those said peoples. He's usually though, if not often, quite an anxious individual. He becomes extremely conceded and selfish in the process if it means his life and/or his possessions, which also leads him to have extreme, dysfunctional emotions in regards of having an uncontrollable anxiety pertaining to his safety. He's on his game about keeping this side of him away from public view but, stay around long enough, and you'll notice the sudden shift. It's not too pretty. He's also not too bright.
█ HISTORY
The minute he tumbled out of high school, Raon stormed head-first into the military at the age of 18. As a troubled kid back in his day, he sought the opportunity as a redemption from being such a spoiled brat. He thought becoming part of a dire cause will perhaps give him the fame and recognition he wanted out of life. At first it was rough, of course. This wasn't anything like your first-person shooters he was so compelled to at first, this was shockingly surreal and unnerving. He was ready to drop out of training just a few days in, but damn, what a shame he'd be coming back home without even scrapping the surface of military life; giving up then would only prove that he was just a lost cause. Determined to make something out of himself, Raon stayed enlisted. He's toughened up, he's made friends; he's lost friends, heard explosions beyond the horizon and ear wrenching bullets zip past his face. He's cried, he's screamed, he's been enraged and thirsty for vengeance of a comrade... eventually, for the 10 years that he's stayed he seemed to grown numb to it all. Tougher, men would say, and simply wavered in the motions. A seemingly minor accident occurred on base that ended his career as an officer. During training Raon suffered a blow to the head with a clumsy slip of his footing and bashed his noggin right smack dab on the side of a metal post. Though hilarious at first, his friends realized seconds later that Raon was not alright at all - at least, not by the way he face-planted into the dirt without trying to catch himself from the fall. He had knocked himself unconscious, only to reawaken days later finding out he had given himself a concussion. Christ, how embarrassing... a stupid mistake like that caused all of this? Well. Nothing to it, he guessed. It was better then being shot dead. Raon though would've preferred being killed when he was told that he was being sent back home due to his head injury. Medically, he was unable to fight. Raon was much too weak at the time to really do a full angry outburst so, he just accepted it solemnly. He hated to leave his friends behind. He wanted to stay with them until the end of times but, well... rules are rules. Coming back home felt... unnervingly peaceful. He's gotten so use to dramatic action and destruction that finally coming back home to nothing but the hums of a city made him... rather jittery. It was just something he had to get used to. Getting back to the norms was not an easy thing; Raon had forgotten he was all on his own back at home. It was the reason why he truly left for the military; to find a place of belonging. At home, well... there hadn't been such a thing. To fill the void of emptiness of creeping depression, he started looking towards some bad habits. Drinking, for one; hadn't had a drink in life until he got home; made him feel at ease. And, found sanctuary in a local street gang. They had somehow mimicked family-like qualities he's made with the men back at base, so he was very much drawn into the concept of their little group. With a combat history and tough outer-layer like that of a drill sergeant, he was an easy addition. It was around almost a year into the new gig of life. Raon had proved himself as a very loyal member of the family despite being the newbie. He was efficient and without remorse when it came to "depleting the completion" so surely the guys felt he was a good recruit. Of course, Raon wanted to take a step above this and be proven much more. He wanted to rise up in the ranks of recognition and respect. Something that'll make the guys go wow in awe at his bravery..Or, stupidity. Raon ended up robbing a store; a poorly executed plan as he stumbles out with just around 120 stolen dollars and a bottle of wine. He dashed across town as police hunted him down (which, come to think of it, would've been a great idea to actually look around for the cops before robbing a store...), and in his haste he trotted down underneath a subway where... oddly enough no one was attending to train stations today. It hadn't mattered though, a free getaway was before him and he took no thought about jumping right on. Whatever it lead him, it better be far far away from this place.

+ Sharp Smells | ex. Gasoline, Sharpies, Nail polish, Cigarette smoke, etc.
+ Liquor | A very relaxing depressant. Something he can hold very well.
+ Video Games | His only outlet of stress. He's a geek for all sorts of games, really.
+ Revenge | Although it brings nothing back, the satisfaction of justice is a thrill.
+ Dogs | "If I can have, like, 5 dogs, then I'd be set for life." - Hard problems | Pretty much anything that challenges his brain makes him want to sink through the floor and weep.
- Loud noises | A wash of anxiety overwhelms him if he's consumed with loud, instant noises like fireworks or lightening.
- Responsibility | Let's not. He's like 12. He can't take it seriously.
- His glasses | He feels like it kinda defeats his.. "hard" stature he's trying to keep up in the gang. So he tries to keep them off but, hell, he can't see a thing without 'em.
- Killing | He doesn't necessarily enjoy taking people's lives. Not one bit. It's just an involuntary motion that happens seemingly out of his hands. He doesn't like to witness it either, whether it be a human or animal.

- Raon is right-handed.
- Raon is near-sighted.
- He can't stand the thought of contacts.
- Most of his eyesight was damaged due to enduring multiple flash-bang grenades.
- His motor skills aren't the greatest now due to his head injury.
- Raon has a gold cap over his left canine tooth.
- The scar over his nose was from a bullet grazing past his face.
- His favorite color is orange.
- He's changed his appearance specifically to blend in with the generation of his gang. So he never bothered with his hair and allowed it to grow back out, he's pierced his ears, got a new set of clothes and tattoos ever since he joined. (shaving, too, was left alone apparently.)
- He has 3 tattoos, but all are hidden.
- He hadn't seen a doctor or a psychiatrist when returning home since A) he felt fine, and B) he didn't have the money for it anyways. If he did, he would've been diagnosed with PTSD.
- His body is riddled with scars and mishaps.
- Raon is truly a hopeless romantic.
- The dog tags he wears are not his, but of those of deceased comrades. He keeps his own inside of his shirt.
- He's never gotten the chance to tackle romance. He's not even sure what he's really into but, he can take a guess that he probably has an interest for men... He'll just have to try it out and see.
- He's trying to perceive a different persona in Kairosi, so he's on guard with sharing personal things.
- Has an odd habit of clicking his tongue; it acts like a twitch in his face.
