One of the many reasons I love my nieces, is they've always brought me luck.
I went to the bank on Holly's birthday, and got four rolls of half dollar coins.
As I walked away from the bank, I wondered how many might be silver.

I was excited to find 22 coins with silver content, but I felt my heart lose rhythm when I found these two.
Before Ben Franklin was the face of the U.S. half dollar, it was the goddess Liberty.

They're in circulated condition, but between the silver content and age these two had me going bipolar for the better part of an hour.

I'm not much of a gambler, but I'll take a $10 bet to the bank any day of the week.
