Thanks
Going through an overhaul at the moment.
$700 worth of exhaust, a new air flow meter, pulled apart and adjusted, made the fuel run leaner, fixed the fuel pressure regulator and the vacuum, sourced another coolant leak and fixed it, Put a new sound system in (Consists of 12 different speakers ranging from tweeters, splits, 6x9's and 12" subs), Re-sprayed the rear end in white to match the body, new LED parker lights, did an ECU diagnostic (took all day).
It's getting there.

Sweet MX3 by the way

Good to hear that you're taking care of her. Doing all the work yourself ?

thanks, glad you like her.. I'm also getting some work done with her . . not by myself tho; mostly with friends or mechanics.. always trying to learn something new

Yep, I do everything myself from the factory service manual

Awesome! Any mods?

Well I had to repair everything that went wrong since I brought her home.. clutch, brakes, exhaust, electric stuff . .

Mods; hm.. sports clutch, new wheels that's probably everything. Planning on installing a new exhaust and sportier suspension.

I've look trough the photos of your rider.. man, looks real nice; never seen one with my own eyes actually but yours look real nice

It used to just be a stock daily, then I rode in my friends turbo one and thought "I gotta have some of that". Now it's all about upping the power

mm.. never drove a turbo'd car I was thinking of getting one too, but so far the 1.8 V6 is powerful enough for me

Haha, the cylinders must be tiny to spread 1.8L across all 6 of them! You'd think they would use a straight 4!

Well it's the smallest V6 in the world.. so I guess . . I never even dismounted the engine

Where's you hood? Or you just go without it?

Master09 In reply to Sir-Genesis [2011-07-17 03:19:49 +0000 UTC]

I take it off whenever I do engine work. The hood is meant to be held up with gas support struts, but being a 27 year old car in October, (Wow. Just realised how old my car's getting!) the supports no longer work. I used to use an old curtain rod to hold up the bonnet but I worked out it was just easier to get to everything with the bonnet off.
