Description
So this is something I'm going to be trying out for a while, being that I am going to be posting profile arts of the characters for my upcomic comic series Aurora Shards. I want to show off the characters in my comic as proof of concept for what readers are going to expect from it. These are all based on sketches I've drawn over the past year for the comic's characters, displaying their personality and abilities.

I've not only included a brief profile as well as various expressions, but also her signature and her name written in the Delfian Language, which is a language I created for the series, though I won't be posting the alphabet for it until a later date, because it's not finished yet... and neither is the comic itself, which I had to delay due to real life issues as well as personal reasons.

A young fox girl who lives in Kumquat Village on the outskirts of the nation of Delfia. August seems like an ordinary fox anthro other than the fact that she unknowingly has energy powers tied to the planet's life force "Aurora", and are similar to the missing Delfian Princess Lisa. These powers include energy blasts, energy control, and some psychic abilities such as telekinesis. Unfortunately, she doesn't know how her powers work half the time and has little to know control over them, with the powers often purely on instinct or based on her emotions rather than at will, sometimes not even being aware of them. This can cause problems if her powers go out of control, and can be quite devastating.

Friendly in appearance and attitude, she's often rather optimistic and looks for the best in others. August can be quite snarky and sassy, but also tomboyish and gets into a lot of trouble, yet she's also very kindhearted and cares a lot about others, always trying to find a solution to whatever problems come in front of her. She is currently allied with the Resistance group "Aurora Shards", which fights against Eris Corporation and it's desire to mechanize the planet.

For reasns unknown, she does not remember her past. She was adopted as a child by a doctor living in Kumquat, having been found in the wreckage of an airship accident. Hunter and the Aurora Shards believe she is the missing Princess Lisa, who they believe will help them defeat Eris Corp and free Delfia from their grasp. Question is… is she really the princess, or does she just look like it, and even then, does she think she will be able to run a country if she WAS the princess? Only time will tell.

If there’s one thing August hates more than anything else, it’s violence. She will always try and find another way to resolve a problem rather than fighting, but will fight if she’s in a situation where she has to, whether she likes it or not. She gets along well with virtually everyone in the team, except probably Lauren, who prefers to use force when she would rather do things more diplomatically.
