The last effect was modified in such a way as not to lose synergy with Excalibur.--------------------------------------------------
If a face-up "Heroic " monster(s) you control is destroyed by battle or card effect while this card is in your hand: You can Special Summon this card. You can only use this of "Heroic Challenger - Extra Sword" once per turn. During your Main Phase, you can Normal Summon 1 "Heroic" monster in addition to your Normal Summon/Set. (You can only gain this effect once per turn.) A Warrior Xyz Monster that was Summoned using this card on the field as material gains this effect. ● If this card battles, it gains 1000 ATK/DEF during the Damage Step only.
