"Bow down to me!"

Man, I love this game. Thage is one of my favorite female characters in gaming! Now, where is she from? She is from Eternal Poison. It was a game that came out in 2008 developed by Flight Plan and published by Atlus(published by Banpresto. This studio is now defunct of February 23rd of this year). Eternal Poison or Poison Pink in Japanese is a strategy RPG for the PS2 where play as 3 characters that all enter a strange new relam known as Besek. Within Besek lives strange creatures known as Majin. They have a taste for human blood and will do anything to get it. The three main characters you follow are Olifen, Thage(The girl in the picture), and Ashley. While I enjoy the stories of the other two characters, I can't get enough of Thage because it is the first time, for me at least, the protagonist is someone who is evil. She is a witch and owns it. Throughout her story no can give her shit as she has a sharp tongue and has amazing comebacks. It was cool to see this when I got the game randomly at Gamestop one time. It was so unique and different from any other character I have experienced.

Now while her outfit is really cute and gothic. I really just enjoy Thage as a character and feel Tara Platt does an amazing job with her performance. I knew of Tara Platt from the Persona 3 where she plays Elizabeth and Mitsuru Kirjio. When I learned she was playing great characters liek this before Persona 3, I was blown away by how talented she is. She has a great range and is able to emote well as a vocie actor. I can't wait to see her in July.

Also, if you're wondering Flight Plan folded in August of 2010. Atlus still owns the rights to the characters from this game. I hope they bring them back one day. I would love an Eternal Poison 2.
