Taken at ALA 2015 on the pool deck area. I absolutely love how the costume turned out and plan on remaking some parts of this out of PVC to wear at Anime Expo 2015. That's so well done~! How did you make the helmet? A friend of mine is making a Volga cosplay and we have no idea how we're making the helmet. x'D He's gonna do the whole thing himself but I'm the one giving him advice on what to use to make it. But we're stuck on the helmet. But he's also doing a helmetless version based off what the fans think his hair looks like and surprisingly despite most fan art showing him with blond hair, a lot of people I've talked to say he has Volcanic-red or blond hair that fades into a Volcanic Red then into a Volcanic orange near the ends so that's what we might do. And his hair will be long. x'D
If he gets the wig I'm gonna ask him if I can work on it and do this one trick I learned on Heroes of Cosplay. If you can't find a wig with the right color your looking for, you can buy a plain blond wig that's very light and just get one of those permanent colored markers that's very close to the color your looking for and color the wig that way. It WILL take hours to color EVERY strand of hair but its worth the time when you see the final result. ^.^ But I'm gonna try to color it a Volcanic Red with some Volcanic orange in there.
We're thinking of making the wig be the pony tail for the helmet and you can take the helmet off without the wig coming off. Don't know how we're gonna do that but we'll try. x'D I'm gonna cosplay as Lana with him since we like the VolgaXLana ship. x3 I just hope I can get an outfit and the wig online cause unlike him, I don't know how to sew or anything but I plan on learning this year so I CAN make my own outfits in the future. x'D
But other then that great job on the cosplay~. Someone told me to expect to see some before March~. I'm glad to see he's slowing getting more attention. I think its because all the Cia fan boys he doesn't have many fans... -.-* Β

The base of the helmet under the "skull" is craftfoam as to be maleable enough to move my head around in the collar attached to the chest piece. The Goatee piece is also craftfoam.
