Description
Not much I can say on this one. I was rarely into the Joes as a kid as Transformers, He-Man, Voltron, Star Wars, Thundercats and a few others took up the toy budget for me and I believe GI Joe was on in the afternoons right before I got home from school. Thus my Joe experience was mostly the 5 part movies and the almost theatrical movie. I barely remember Jinx at all and I found out when researching for this drawing that she didn't show up until mid 1987. By that time I was into the Ninja Turtles and the Transformers ended their cartoon run (in the USA at least). I didn't reinvent anything on this other than the open chest for cleavage which makes no sense at all on a ninja. But it gets views. Meh. I kept the costume closely resembling the toy and the cartoon version other than that. I made her double trident staff a bit too long between the handles. And I opted out of the rack for her dual katanas. Her other katana is hidden by her head. This was the final page in my 9x12 sketch pad so less square paper in the future. I also went ahead and colored this digitally to match my other female Joes that I did a while back. Thankfully I was able to sneak in a digital drawing based on female toons as promised for this month.
