I remember including this in my portfolio for an art course at college years ago, my tutor rolled her eyes and told me to move away from drawing these things. I didn't tell her i only really included it to have diversity in the work i was showing... I just agreed.

But now when i think about it, drawing this picture helped me through a time that was difficult for me. So yes, to my tutor it was just a copy of a Mario cartoon, but for me it means a lot more because of the moment i drew it in.
