Stock Rules

I know it's not the best quality stock or anything, but I have used these in the past for my simple iPhone edits and thought it might be useful for others.

This one is not a raw unedited shot. I had to erase some people out of it, so if you notice anything weird, that's why.   I think it looks ok for having erased like 6 people out of it.    May use if you wish, for photo manipulation, a link to see your new creation and how you have used my work, and credit for my work, when you use it, is necessary.  May be used off DA.    Please do not just post original as your own work.  Or just color correct or put a simple filter over it.    Offered as free to use for editing purposes only.

Thanks very much, Eve.  Would be nice if I could get them to close the park down, so I could get shots with no people milling about.    I am working on one that has about 35 people in it.   Trying to see if I can remove them and make it usable stock.    It's making me cross-eyed.

Hehe - this is my lige - AND I AM SO SICK OF HEARING HOW STOCK PHOTOS SHOULD BE UNTOUCHED! NOT POSSIBLE WITH BACKGROUNDS EFFING NUMPTYS!

Well, it would probably be ideal if they were untouched, however, this is real life and that's just not possible sometimes.  Lol    If the effing numptys (I don't know what that means, but it made me laugh) don't like it, they don't have to use it.   I didn't figure it would do to put a a photo with a ton of tourists crawling all over it, you can't use it that way.  Maybe they would prefer to do the work themselves?   Maybe I would leave all the work for the people with the fancy photo programs, since I am trying to do it using an iPad app.     I have an idea to use this piece I am working on, and I figure if I have to go through the process of getting out the people, I may as well upload it that way.   Now, I really hope I can find a stock model that will work for what I want to do.   Otherwise, I am doing a lot of work for nothing.  Lol

I say if the CVs of Stock & Resources say you should provide your stock untouched - then you should leave all those people in there - however, this does mean that if any of their faces are recognisable you could be sued big time ha! So I guess you take your pick

Hmmm, well, that's what I was thinking, that you cannot have people's faces in there.   Maybe I shouldn't post it at all, or if I do, make it clear like I did on the other one, that I worked on it and took people out of it.

Well if you are going to use it yourself then you would be going the work anyway hehe but I don't think it harms to let people know that providing stock takes time If their faces aren't recognisable then it's ok to leave them in

Well, there are a few that are recognizable, a child or two, at that, so I would not post it without removing the people.

Blurring faces is an alternative?
