Description
This is my character Amanita. She's some weird mushroom girl...thing. I have to think of a name for her species sometime soon. I might make others of her race. Some time. Probably not anytime soon. I don't know. I only did a simple green background because I can't really do actual backgrounds. But I'll be practicing backgrounds sometime in the future. Anyway, enjoy!Drawn and colored in Paint Tool SAI

I'm trying to convey how much I love the concept of a petite and childlike, yet visibly monstrous mushroom girl with a penchant for being a ravenous flesh-eater. Who also happens to look a little like Peacock, which is also a big plus.
Honestly I probably can't without turning out awkward, but I'll just say I really would love to see more of this interesting (and hungry) character in the fooooture. And of course that your art is da' bomb.

Yeah, I designed her with the "cute, but could kill you in an instant" idea in mind.
She can also hide amongst real mushrooms so she can jump out and attack her prey.
I guess I can see a little of Peacock in her. With the blacked out eyes, sharp teeth, and
some cutesy-ness thrown in there.
And don't worry. I'll definitely be drawing more of her soon!

I think it was actually the hair that made me think Peacock before the eyes did - similar hairstyles and whatnot. They also have caps! *rimshot*

I drew it with a mouse. I used a 8px brush and erased really carefully to get the thinness that I wanted. It'd be a lot easier if I had a tablet, but I'm too poor to afford one.

I'm not quite sure, myself. I've had her for a couple of weeks. I'm still messing around with her design a bit.

It really depends on what I'm going for. Sometimes I go for a cutesy look, sometimes I go for something like this. Whenever I try to do a cutesy look I don't shade the muscle with as much detail and I give her a smaller mouth. I find that it's mainly the mouth that switches her from cute...ish....to creep...ier...It really just depends.

Maybe add some white pupils and tone down the amount of pointy teeth.
Then it'll look like a living creature instead of a husk. Not sure what you were going for, though. Maybe it's just a lifeless husk.

She's supposed have blacked out eyes and lots of pointy teeth. They add to her creepiness. If she hides her teeth it's not as creepy. Hmm.....Now that I'm thinking about it I might add a little shine to her eyes in my next pic of her. Just to see how it will go.
