Kind of looks like a side shot of Groot.  Forgive me my mind plays tricks on me from time to time.

I wonder how that rock got there? I could be all that remains of a large rock formation that was weathered over millennia.

Another possibility is that the rock is an 'erratic' (one was that  was transported far from its original location and deposited during the ice age by a glacier)
