I wonder how that rock got there? I could be all that remains of a large rock formation that was weathered over millennia.
Another possibility is that the rock is an 'erratic' (one was that was transported far from its original location and deposited during the ice age by a glacier)

I don't know either. Big solid rock, probably high about 10 meters. It is wonder by nature for sure.
