So yeah, got a fair bit excited when I saw the DTA last week (being busy and not on much made me late seeing it, though I'm glad I did!!) ❤
This is the first entry of mine for these guys n_n Got 6 others sketched up, three of which I definitely want to finish, the other three will be a bonus if I can get them done in time XD Though I'll probabaly finish them even if I run out of time so whoever the owner is can have as much art as possible- hey, I've thought up the sketches, they may as well have them! XD

I kind of pictured this scene being they were about to take a photo when one of them went to pounce on the other just to ruin it. So this would be like right before the picture is snapped x3

Okay, so now for the big speech *brace yourselves*

It said in the journal that those that can prove they're genuinely interested in keeping it will have an advantage, so I do apologise for this cx

Firstly, I know it says you can try for two sooshes but I figure there's no point when there is only one I really want- why try for a soosh I know I don't love as much? So all my effort will be going into winning these guys n_n
Of course another reason is the cost XD If I had the money to spare, I would definitely have tried for some of the sooshes I've seen auctioned in the past! And when people resell them and stuff they're always expensive- even with trading you seem to have to have the right species to be able to get your hands on them haha! I've tried on a couple that were up for offers/co-owns, but none have come through unfortunately, which brings me to another point.

I have only tried for a few offers and such because I want to make sure that, as with any character, it will definitely be one I'll love. I once saw something on designing characters (I think it was by griffsnuff?) that said you want to make sure it's something that you'll want to draw over and over again, and I think the same can be said for adopting characters. Unless it's something I designed myself and didn't end up wanting, I have yet to trade/sell a character away. I always try and make sure it is a character that I will enjoy owning, otherwise what's the point? I've drawn every single character I own at least once and love them all for different reasons. So unless I see a soosh I really like and would love to draw, then I'm better off leaving it to people that will love it more!
These guys are something I already enjoy drawing, whether I end up owning them or not. They are simple but adorable, and in my eyes I already see them as sharing a cheeky and mischievous personality, always playing tricks on each other :3

Lastly, 80s freakin' space dust! Of course I was sold hook, line and sinker after reading "~spaceships and ufo's batteries not included~" (made me giggle like crazy XD) but after researching the candy itself more I am so in love XD One thing I found has even led me to one of the other entries I will post (won't say much else so it doesn't give it away!). I even showed my mum them (she knows a bit about sushi dogs as I have had to explain to her a few times as to why I/everyone else likes them so much XD) and she thought they were cool, then proceeded to tell me about CSD herself! She was an 80s kid after all!

I'm really not the best with words, so hopefully it's understandable XD

TLDR~
Can't afford, can't trade, have waited for a design I know I'll love and I <3 80s shizzles

Oh and if I don't happen to win, the winner can note me and I'll send them the other versions of this (without texture, with a bg, unshaded etc- there's many versions XD)
