Day 1 of Inktober 2018 - "Poisonous"

This is my first time doing inktober and obviously I am not able to draw all of the prompts, but I would like to do at least ten or ideally half of them. I feel I need more practice so I wanted to challenge myself. In addition to the official prompt list by INKTOBER I decided to do it all Tolkien-themed, so we'll see where we get by that.

This is Morgulduin, the poisonous stream in the Vale of Minas Morgul, seen by Frodo, Sam and Gollum in the Two Towers.

What do you think about it? TBH I am not very happy with it. I wanted the line art (of inktober drawings in general) to be much simpler. But although it didn't take me much more than an hour (which is very fast by my standards) I just couldn't help myself and made it too cluttered. Hopefully the inktober will help me practice simplicity.
