Description This is my entry for the finalist challenge of
The task was to draw winter magic. Well, kirins will just do... They're quite magical after all.
I was listening the soundtrack of the movie "The Village" while working on this. It's really creepy, and fits perfectly to the empty snowy fields and forests.

And, on the other hand, this is my kirin pic for 2010. I just thought I can merge the two themes that I planned to draw, since a lot of deadlines are threatening me. And a great time-saving idea it was. Since it's the year of the tiger, I decided to have some stripes on the kirins.

The front kirin's horn seems to be almost translucent. It it supposed to be like that? It's really cool.

First it wasn't like that but due to a mistake in merging the layers it turned out this way, and I decided to leave it as it is, since the horn is supposed to be the source of the magic.
